Renaud Bañuls

Renaud Bañuls is the founder of bañulsdesign, a naval architecture and engineering company. For the past two decades, Renaud has been actively involved in offshore racing and the America’s Cup. Renaud is also a lecturer-researcher at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture in Nantes (ENSA Nantes). For several years, bañulsdesign is involved in some eco-responsible projects based on mathematical modeling in collaboration with prestigious French Universities such as the Center for Applied Mathematics (CMAP, CNRS, Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau) or the Pelagis Observatory of the marine megafauna (University of La Rochelle, CNRS).
