James Helliwell

James is the V.Group’s Commercial Director for Decarbonisation, leading the delivery of V.ERDE, our decarbonisation ecosystem, to both managed vessels and external clients. V.ERDE offers a range of solutions to optimise fuel efficiency and drive cost savings in an evolving regulatory landscape. It also provides specialized consultancy on alternative fuels for clients exploring new vessel options. In addition to his role, James serves as Vice Chair of the UK Chamber of Shipping’s Alternative Fuels Working Group. He holds a Master’s degree in Marine Engineering and is a chartered engineer.
